FAQ :
1. Why should apparatus be tested?
Answer: To ensure that the pump continues to be capable of the performance for which it was designed.

2. Who requires the apparatus be tested?
Answer: NFPA requires an annual test on all fire apparatus. The ISO also requires the pumps to be tested annually.

3. When should the apparatus be tested?
Answer: In addition to annually, after any major repairs to the pump or drive train of the apparatus, an inspection should be performed in accordance with NFPA 1911.

4. Why should a third party test the truck?
Answer: Because you will receive an unbiased, professional opinion of the condition of the unit and any corrective action that may be required to meet the NFPA and ISO standards.

5. Where can you perform these services?
Answer: The services listed can be performed at your facility, the manufacturers facility, or field locations.

6. What equipment is needed for testing?
Answer: Southeastern Testing Inc. supplies all the necessary equipment to perform the test, i.e. test gauges, water manifolds, etc. We do ask that you supply hose and the proper size suction hose. Our technicians will perform the entire test. Since we perform the test, all that is required of you is to supply the truck.
